We start them on landmark projects
25/11/22: TClarke London apprentices were provided with their first professional toolkits from our long-term partner Edmundson. They will use them at work on some of the highest profile landmark construction projects currently underway.
Eighteen of our London apprentices were awarded with their first professional toolkits from Edmundson. Paul Conneely and Jimmy Smith were in attendance from Edmundson, while Kevin Cleverly represented our training provider JTL.
Once again, this event is a very clear demonstration of the way TClarke takes pride and care in the whole process of bringing apprentices into our business. This year across the UK, we welcome a ten year record of 70 apprentices into the company. With TClarke, each one can expect a very high level of support and focus to get them to the professional standards and qualifications they want to achieve.
Group CEO Mark Lawrence comments:
“This group of London apprentices, like all those that have gone before them in the last 133 years, are starting their careers working on some highly impressive landmark projects – the Peninsula Hotel, 8 Bishopsgate, Battersea Power Station to name just a few. The pride and sense of satisfaction that comes with working on projects like these is something that stays with you for life.
“Its no different across the country on every type of project. The 200 TClarke apprentices represent a £6M million investment and are highly valued within our business and we take good care of them. We expect every single one to succeed and – quite literally – we give them the best tools to do the job.”
