TClarke shortlisted for major Public Sector Decarbonisation award
TClarke’s Healthcare team has been shortlisted by the Procure Partnerships Framework in their National Project Excellence Awards, for work on the Bristol Royal Infirmary Strategic Infrastructure Upgrade for University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
TClarke Director, UK South, Rob Faro welcomed the team’s recognition:
“The Procure Partnerships Framework is a £2.5bn public sector framework to provide services for local authorities, NHS Trusts, Schools, Universities and Blue Light Providers. As part of a wider programme to upgrade infrastructure and deliver resilience and decarbonisation at Bristol Royal Infirmary we have undertaken several complex and challenging installations including replacing AHUs, Chillers, Electrical Switchgear and Distribution Systems.
“Working in a live hospital environment is always challenging; however our expert teams have the experience and knowledge to ensure that critical areas of the hospital such as theatres, wards and recovery facilities are upgraded with minimal disruption. In this case theatres and other critical services were able to continue throughout the works with our careful planning and provision of temporary services ensuring that our work did not impact on the day-to-day clinical activities of the hospital.
“This project has effectively shown the way in the public sector for an effective multi-faceted programme to replace outdated systems within critical working facilities to deliver major infrastructure resilience and decarbonisation successfully.
“TClarke teams have led the way once again and my congratulations go to all of those involved in delivering for our client and the people of Bristol”
