TClarke selects OpenSpace across major London projects for next-level project management

TClarke has selected OpenSpace to provide AI-powered computer vision and analytics on a series of five major London projects – with the aim of advancing project management to the next level.

OpenSpace assists construction and real estate companies to work more effectively and with less risk. The  AI-powered computer vision and analytics technology enables OpenSpace users to fully document a construction site, visualise progress, coordinate with the field, and manage what needs to get done.

With a 360° camera, simply walking the site as normal allows the OpenSpace platform to generate a Google Street View-style, as-built record of the project. The OpenSpace AI combines images and pins them to the floor plan or BIM, creating a shared and interactive visual record. Having a visual understanding of the project and the ability to compare on-site conditions to the design intent, project teams can stay on top of progress from anywhere, spot discrepancies before they become a problem, and speed up scheduling and payment decisions.

Mark Lawrence, Group Chief Executive at TClarke commented:

“We have chosen OpenSpace as our preferred technology platform to help us deliver a complete visual record for a series of five major projects over the next three years. Our focus is on practical programme delivery, and we aim to provide our clients with real and permanent value through this investment.

OpenSpace will enable us to report on progress from anywhere, manage issues and mitigate disputes, and improve collaboration across teams. By using OpenSpace’s latest product, BIM+, TClarke aims to streamline coordination between Design and Site teams, allowing us to align the as-built to the BIM model and identify issues early on.”

Sean Harrison from Openspace made the following statement:

“It’s been a great experience working with TClarke, a leading company in the industry, which is dedicated to providing value to their clients by utilising the appropriate technology. We’re excited to work with them to expand the use of OpenSpace Capture and BIM+ on more projects in the upcoming months.”
