TClarke onsite at vast £250m Glasgow infrastructure project : Sighthill
18/2/21 : New drone footage, courtesy of Glasgow City Council, Keepmoat and Morgan Sindall, captures the sheer scale of the biggest such infrastructure project in the UK outside London. TClarke teams are now onsite on early phases with hopes of more to come.
The £250 million regeneration of Sighthill is the biggest such project in the UK outside of London, notable for its transformation of a neighbourhood located so close to Glasgow city centre. When complete, the project will have delivered around 1000 new homes, a new community schools campus, a landmark cyclist and pedestrian bridge reconnecting Sighthill and North Glasgow to the city centre, improved parkland and green space through the area, new businesses and a new road bridge across the Glasgow – Edinburgh railway line connecting Sighthill to neighbouring communities.
Scotland Managing Director Gary Jackson commented :
Sighthill in the snow looks spectacular. This is a major project for Glasgow and I’m delighted that our teams are delivering well for all our clients and partners. TClarke is demonstrating once again that we can deliver quality, value for money, safety and a genuinely collaborative way of working. We have the people to do it and we look forward to proving ourselves and bidding for further phases on this great project.
