TClarke announces Ray Durso as our new Head of Smart Buildings

1/7/22: TClarke’s powerful Technologies team has announced the appointment of senior industry figure, Ray Durso, to head the Smart Buildings team. 

Simon Lee, Director of TClarke Technology welcomed the appointment:

“We are delighted to announce the addition of Ray Durso to our Technologies division as Head of Smart Buildings. He is one of the very few people in the UK industry to have successfully delivered complex Smart Buildings. His arrival is highly significant in our work to strengthen and develop our existing Smart Buildings team and Ray will be  instrumental in our continued growth in this key market.

“Ray will lead the Smart Buildings team, sharing his extensive knowledge and experience with the TClarke workforce and apprentices alike, whilst deploying his skillset across our existing projects, supporting both new and existing customers – particularly through the launch of our Smart Buildings Experience Centre.

Our new Smart Buildings Experience Centre is a new Research & Development hub, located at our 30 St Mary Axe  HQ, in the heart of the City. It will immerse our clients directly in Smart Buildings technologies and allow TClarke to continually support our customers in all aspects of truly Intelligent Buildings. It will also be the learning hub for our staff and apprentices – to give them a systematic grounding in these new skillsets.

“Ray’s expertise will also help us in our ongoing in-house Technologies training programme to identify talent and develop our stream of Future Solution Architects and Smart Buildings specialists. As part of this, we will create new training and development roles alongside our Full MSI and Smart Platform deployments. 

“This is a major appointment, further strengthening our ability to deliver full turn key solutions alongside our Engineering Services and specialist offerings such as BMS, ICT, Security, AV and Fire.”
