South West starts work on another major project
21/3/19 : TClarke South West has recently been able to report substantial progress with project wins across the region. Now they are starting work on a major project in Exeter as MD Rob Faro reports:
We’re delighted to be able to carry on with the series of major announcements in recent months with another landmark project commencing in the South West – this time the Middlemoor Criminal Justice Centre for Devon & Cornwall Police, working again with WIllmott Dixon.
We have been working on pre-construction activities for several months, and have now commenced works on site. This is a major development for Exeter in which the city will get a new Criminal Justice Centre for the 21st century, we are delivering the full MEP package. Once again, we are able to showcase our abilities in a technically complex project that makes use of our group wide expertise in technologies.
It is important for TClarke because once again we are working with Willmott Dixon – so our partnership goes from strength to strength; secondly we’re again proving the worth of our targeted tendering; thirdly; we’re winning another major job in Exeter – a city in which we’re looking to build our name. You can now see the reality of TClarke as a brand capable of partnering principal contractors on major projects, right across the region.
As our order book grows we also invest in our future, this project has already enabled us to employ our first Exeter based apprentice.
I’d also add that this is another job in which TClarke, nationwide, is rebuilding the face of Britain for the good. We’re delighted to have been selected and to have further expanded our forward order book.
