Scarborough Hospital win is breakthrough for TClarke North
TClarke North has secured a project which represents a three-way breakthrough. It is one of the largest Engineering Services projects won by the Newcastle team, it is a first job with IHP (Integrated Health Projects is an established joint venture between VINCI Construction UK and Sir Robert McAlpine) in this region and it is a breakthrough into healthcare in the region. Newcastle Operations Director Paul Hoy commented:
“This is our biggest win since we expanded our mechanical engineering resource to complete our in-house building services offer. It really is a massive piece of good news for us, working with York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation and IHP (with whom we also work in the South of the UK). We now have the opportunity to show our healthcare credentials in another region.
“The scale of the job is also critical – jobs on this scale outside London put you firmly into the top tier as a Building Services business. That is what we have been working to achieve over the last year and it is a great credit to everyone in the team that has contributed to getting this project secured. Now we have the opportunity to show what we can do. We are onsite now and this is a fast turnaround project.”
