Group announces new round of School wins

1/11/19 : TClarke has been working with Bowmer & Kirkland on the ESFA Framework to deliver new build and total school refurbishments across the UK. At the same time our Design & Build team in Colchester has been winning complete design and build education projects. Group CEO Mark Lawrence sets out these successes.

Our Leeds team’s collaboration with Bowmer & Kirkland on the ESFA framework has been highly effective and productive. We have had three more major projects allocated to us – the refurbishment of Pinner High School and new build schools in Richmond and Banbury. These are, as usual, major contracts where we work hand in hand with Bowmer & Kirkland to deliver excellent products.

At the same time it is equally good to be able to announce that our Design & Build operation based in Colchester has won the MEP contracts for the new Oasis Academy at Shoreditch, Bishops Stortford Primary School and a little earlier in the year, the City University London Library extension (pictured) . We have also just started onsite at Langham Oaks SEN school in Essex. 

The expectations for a 21st century school are justifiably high and that demands high quality skills and expertise. It also requires accuracy and speed in programme delivery. TClarke’s Leeds and Colchester teams – like all others – are built around the principles of highly motivated, directly employed people who have the skills and attitude to design and  deliver, backed up by the world class expertise across all the systems and technical knowledge that we offer as a group. 

This work is also another area of our operation that brings balance to our business – so it has strategic importance for us. These are by no means the only TClarke operations with strong ongoing performance in the education sector we deliver schools and university projects everywhere from Scotland to Cornwall.
