Expansion to add mechanical services for long term partner Waitrose
2/3/22: In the 22nd year of our relationship with Waitrose, we have achieved a major expansion and are now delivering both mechanical and electrical services for their store refurbishments. For 21 year it has been electrical works only.
TClarke announces that it has signed up to the 2022 Waitrose Mechanical and Electrical Framework agreement. Further to this we are now underway carrying out the design works for five M&E projects prior to the installation works later this year.
TClarke Chief Executive Mark Lawrence explained the significance of this move:
“We take enormous pride in all of our long term relationships; Waitrose is exceptionally important to us. Over many years TClarke’s directly employed teams have delivered high quality work, job after job, working in what really is a model for collaborative practices, with a demanding and highly trusted long term partner, against the tightest timescales.
“For 21 years this relationship has been about electrical only. Now we are delivering on the mechanical side too – in this case from our Peterborough operation. Across the UK, we have been investing in our mechanical capabilities and resource. This has been a secure and steady process of organic growth, creating far more capacity for our clients and headroom for growth.
“Waitrose has very high standards and they run a tight and extremely professional store refurbishment operation. To be selected for this work is a mark of what we can deliver consistently over time – and a great credit to the Peterborough team.”
