Dammy Ajibade wins national Apprentice of the Year Award

Dammy Ajibade has followed his success in JTL’s Regional apprenticeship awards earlier this year, by winning their national, ‘Paul McNaughton National Electrical Apprentice of the Year Award’.

TClarke Group Managing Director Mike Crowder took the opportunity to congratulate Dammy, who has now completed his TClarke apprenticeship in London.

“Dean Edwards and our apprenticeship teams nationwide take the best possible care of our apprentices and make sure they get a world class professional engineering apprenticeship experience. They identify capable young people with the attitude and standards we want – and then they do everything necessary to help those people to fully realise their potential throughout the four years of their apprenticeship. It requires a lot of commitment and intelligence and our teams have been doing it for years.

“Dammy has shown an interest to move into the area of Commissioning within TClarke – and we are keen to support that. From the start he has shown the capabilities and determination to achieve at the highest levels. What he also knows is that as a qualified TClarke engineer, he has exceptional choice and opportunity in front of him. He’s a grounded young man – and we will now make sure he has the career options to match his ambition. I congratulate him on behalf of everyone at TClarke.”
